Most days, life is mundane. You aren’t necessarily unhappy, but nothing really outstanding is going on either. If you are like me, you survive most days waiting for: the weekend, the next vacation, an upcoming holiday…March Madness. You look forward to the next big thing that you hope will bring excitement and adventure to your enjoyable, but otherwise ordinary day-to-day life.

But every once in a while, something big happens. It can be something unexpected, it can be a milestone for you or a family member, or it can be something you’ve been working toward for a long, long time with no guarantee of a payoff.
